Interesting bit of synchronicity with this one. AT Communications hired me to operate slides for a six day Volvo event to be held at East Midland Conference Center. Halfords wanted a cost effective way to get a their training message across to hundreds of staff. We stepped up to the mark and helped turn a store into a conference venue with a full Bike Hut upsairs. #Powerpoint #prettygood #presentationdesign

Helped out TED in Vancouver for a second year. Great Canadian team again. The highlight for me was meeting Monika Lewinsky in slide prep, she did a great talk. Here are are some Pics. I was invited to assist on TED Global on Rio de Janeiro Copacabana Beach. It was a bit sad because it was the last one for Michael Glass. It was also a challenge, the crew were great, but out of 35 staff there were only 3 English speakers who I relied on heavily. Saying that, the shows went great. There were a few stand out talks, but for me, my favourite was by Kimberly Motley. She is an American who work as an attorney and litigator in Afganistan

In July we helped Halfords with two events at the East Midlands Conference Centre. The first was supplying Set, Sound and Technical support for their suppliers event. For the second event, Halfords Bike Expo, we made a series of training videos and amended the design of the corporate template to make it bike specific. A US Event firm hired me for 10 days to assist with the Keynote screen graphics on the Eye on the Earth Summit. Graphics were displayed on a 30ft wide screen in front of the collected royally of the UAE; Eye on Earth addresses the crucial importance of environmental and societal information and networking to decision-making. It aims to convene thought & action leaders of the worldwide community, converge consensus on the key areas of mutual importance, and finally collaborate

After working with TED at TED Global Oxford and TED India in 2009, I was invited to help out at Long Beach in 2010. I established our way of organising some 80 presenters over 5 days and all went very well. The crew were great, a bit unsure of me at first, but they grew to love me.
